Gravel ride on Sunday, all welcome. Route not decided yet, see who turns up!

3 riders out on Sunday, Reece (yes that’s correct), Nige and myself. After a brief chat at the black path decided to follow the cycle path to the top of the Garw Valley and then continue through the forest and turbine farm to the top of the Bwlch. Beautiful morning for a social gravel ride!

At the top of the Bwlch Reece split off to head for home to prepare to travel for his new job! Nige and myself cut back into the forest and headed for the top of the Rhigos and down towards the zip wire.

We had both forgotten how long the climb is back up past the zip wire and onto the cafe stop at Glyncorrwg. After refreshments we headed for home via Afan clocking up approx. 63 miles and 6000ft of climbing, not quite in the same league as the 600km Bryan Chapman ride but an enjoyable day out.
