Andy not around this Sunday so I’ll post something again this week.

Here we go for this Sunday, out to Alltwen and Glais with coffee stop in Neath, 59 miles in total but this should be ok for the mixed group we have been getting on Sundays.
Out through Porthcawl, Kenfig, Harbour Way, Briton Ferry, Neath, Rhos, Alltwen, Glais, Birchgrove, Neath Abbey, back to Neath, Briton Ferry, Harbour Way, Pyle and home through the lanes and Laleston.

Another good turn out this week, 9 of us out this morning, me, Chris, Scott, Carl, Tammy, Tim, Lee, Paul and a second outing for newbie Scott. Good conditions this morning, just a bit chilly in Neath, and got home well before the rain came into Bridgend. Good group ride, largely staying together on the way out, until we got on to the long drag from Neath to Rhos. The group split into a few groups coming back together on the junction across to Alltwen, and splitting again out of Glais and on the Drummau Road climb out of Birchgrove. A welcome coffee break then in Costa in Neath where the sun duly went in as we all sat outside. A puncture then immediately for newbie Scott as we set off again. Paul and Scott then rode home together after Briton Ferry. The rest of us riding on together with Chris to the fore and then dropping off Tammy for a second coffee stop in Pyle. Good pace home for the rest of us.

Somewhat Inaccurate: I got dropped in Port Talbot ;) no Smashfest for me yesterday but good to get out all the same! Thanks Richard!
