7pm - rainwear, although we could be lucky!

Looking increasingly like a turbo session for me.

But its dead calm Davey...record breaking conditions.
I can't make it unfortunately, got to finish the other half of my Easter bunny.

At 1856, I was alone in the car park, happily contemplating riding home and getting on the turbo. Imagine my disappointment when 7 others turned up on the dot of 7pm! The chaingang rain gods then stopped the rain at 1905 and off we went. Little or no wind but very greasy on the corners. I then realised that my choice of bike (winter, mudguards, 50 tooth chainring) was going to make life extra hard. Having said that, it was one of the best so far in so much as the fast riders (Mark R and Matt B) did more work and we pretty much stayed together until the end and recorded a short '51'. Special mentions to Shawn (mudguards also) and Will J ( turn up regularly and you will be a world- beater) and not forgetting Beckett Junior, who is a great example to anyone his age....
