I’ll be out Sunday, weather looking good. We’ll head back into the Vale this weekend and a ride of around 50 miles with a coffee stop in Cowbridge. I’ll post the route later. No Andy Harries this week so if there is interest in a social ride I’m happy to drop down and lead that group.

It’s 47 miles, coffee stop in the Hare and Hounds Bakery in Cowbridge, options for more miles when we get back into Bridgend.

8 of us set out from Physique on Sunday morning, me, Rich L, Karl, Mark, Chris, Tony and Paul L, and good to see Steve Chapman out with us after a few weeks absence for a step down ride.
The group broke up through Brynna and we made the decision to ride as 2 groups in Talbot Green, with me in the second group with Paul and Tony. It later transpired Paul had a mechanical issue, a slack rear derailleur cable preventing him from getting into the smaller gears. So we made some changes to the planned ride to cut out some later climbs but not before Paul had enjoyed the climb over to Beddau stuck somewhere the middle of the rear cassette. So after Creigiau we detoured to Miskin and took the road into Cowbridge from Pontyclun and the coffee stop in the Hare and Hounds. On the way out of Cowbridge we then met up briefly with the remnants of the faster group. We then took the long way round the coast home.
