Andy isn’t around this coming weekend so I’ll post a route for Sunday. I’ll keep it to around 50 miles. Weather looking ok with just a bit of a north westerly so we’ll look to head out west somewhere.
Are we moving to a 9-30 start this weekend, can someone confirm for me please. Thanks

Rides are due to change to a 9:30 start from December to January.

This is about 55 miles but we can shorten the route if necessary depending who turns up by removing the loop beyond Neath

Coffee stop in Moruzzi’s in Neath

Moruzzi's in Neath is now Juniper Place and I don't think they do the same type of Sunday tea cakes that we've had previously, so we may have to find somewhere else for coffee.
See you in the morning

Thats a lot of climbing for the social ride; can you be persuaded to drop shwt; it is a tricky descent in summer and usually wet at the bottom?

Yes we can lose that descent. We could just go out of Bridgend on the Tondu Road to pick up the Maesteg Road?

Not going to make the club ride this morning sorry.

Only 2 Chasers out this morning Karl and myself who were joined on the first part of the ride through Maesteg and onto Neath by Pacers Rob and Paul. We continued on to Pontardawe and then as it was my turn for coffee I treated Karl to a hot apple pie in McDonald's at Baglan before pressing on home over Harbour Way .
