only just made it in time this morning, I think that everyone who was there was hoping everyone else wouldn't have been there just to ride home.
A damp start this morning 4 out ready to go
Me
Rob C
Angelo (no rain jacket)
Rich L -stepping up from the Chasers where we all reassured him we would look after him.
off out on the route where we could See Rich L was keen to show off his gains from the Spain training camp.
Once we hit the clock tower Angelo increased the pace heading off into the distance. The views were not great on the top visibility of about 10m.
on the top of the Bwlch I couldn't see Rob or Angelo waiting, guessed they pressed on not to get cold. Almost caught up on the descent withing in touching distance then they disappeared. where I was left thinking christ that pair must be pressing onto the Pontrhydyfen turning.
Carried on looking for them. I waited at the turn where Rich wasnt too far behind me. We both pressed on thinking the climbing duo were in front and on the cimla.
me and Rich got to the top of Cimla still no sight of them. We got to the other side of Neath where Rob text to say that there were behind us.
they both decided to go back, Me and Rich L carried on to the Marina Coffee stop for custard slices and a warm-up with the coffee.
Back on the bikes and the rain had stopped for the return journey home.
when Rob and Angelo got to the bottom of the Bwlch they went into a shop on the right-hand side of the road hence why both me and Rich went straight past. the pit stop was to fashion a jacket out of bin liners as Angelo was riding without a Jacket.
