Weather is looking okish. Damp and cool so we'll stay low.
I was thinking this route https://www.strava.com/routes/10800678
Ogmore by sea - Monknash - Sigingstone - Llantrythid - Coffee at the cafe in Bonvilston (Bacon roll and coffee for £2.50!!) - Down to Gwern-y-Steeple -Welsh St Donats - Watery Lane then Reverse of Tuesday route home.
Also as of the 1st October Mudguards are to be used on all club runs. Especially with the crappy weather at the moment. So be nice to the rider behind and stop them getting a face full of mud.

Ben, I don't possess mudguards, so if I was to take my usual position at the back, would I be okay to join the ride?
I'll get some of them horrible mud guard thingy's as soon as I can.

That's ok Chris ;D we'll let you off this time. There's some Crud Products Road racer mk3s on Amazon for £25 with prime delivery at the moment.

I haven't got mud guards yet either and as we can't both ride at the back 😂 - I hope to get some in the week and will wiping the dust off my bike and hopefully be out next week

More than welcome to join us Jo.

4 riders today. Myself, Nick R, Geoff and Chopper. We followed the planned route for the most part. Although once we had to swim through the 15th lake across the road we changed plans. Instead of heading to Bonvilston we headed to SWAM at St Athan. Lovely coffee and a Bacon roll (Thanks Geoff - My shout next time). From there we split up. Nick and Chris heading home while Geoff and myself had a wander round geeking out on planes. Was a great ride, despite the wet roads, and I think all had fun.

Thanks for a great ride today Ben, Nick and Geoff, I thoroughly enjoyed it today, even the getting soaked bit.

Brilliant - genuinely, lots of entertainment today, good company, bikes, sea views, water-play, planes, and we missed the rain. We adapted and overcame! Cheers, guys.

Sorry I missed it!
