Title: Port Talbot Wh 25

Hi, just wondered if anyone was entering the Port Talbot Wheelers 25 on 8 Sep? I would quite like to have a try at this, and contribute to a club team effort, but being a newcomer I'm unfamiliar with the course and its surroundings so would appreciate the opportunity of travelling with a club-mate to familiarise myself with the lie of the land so to speak.

Hi, Neil, thanks, yes thankfully I've been accepted - off 53 in the overflow, just seen the start-sheet for the main event; they've got yourself off at 102. Fingers crossed on the weather for the day. Do you have a plan for meeting up etc?

Be a fairly early start! Can you get to Cowbridge, or do you need to be picked up?

Obviously I wouldn't wish to inconvenience you at all, but as it's about a 25-ish min ride to Cowbridge I'd prefer to be picked up if that is not too much trouble - say at the big roundabout on the B4265/B4270? Thanks again.

BTW, great ride yesterday in the Sportzmad event, Stephen Landeg also, good going!

Could we possibly benefit from a team presence in the Virtual CC event on the 15th? As before this course is unfamiliar to me but I'd be happy to back you guys up if I could get in?
