You may have a guest rider with you on Sunday Richard. Guy down here visiting his in-laws. He's called John Kelly.

6 of us out this morning, me, Rich L, Karl, Lee, Graham and visitor John Kelly from London.

58 miles in total with some climbing and the majority of the climbing in the first part of the ride before the coffee stop.

Followed the route as planned in mainly good conditions, over the climbs of Maesteg to Bryn and Sardis Hill to Cimla. Long drag out of Neath to Rhos where we detoured over to the far side of the valley through Trebanos and Clydach to Glais and Birchgrove and the Drummau road climb.

Welcome coffee stop at bar ten 21 in Neath where the salted caramel brownie was the popular choice of the day. It started to rain while we were in the coffee stop and continued most of the way home. Usual dash for home through Briton Ferry and Harbour Way with the two Richards doing all the work on the front.

Well done to Graham and John today, Graham you need to get out with the chasers more often.

See you all next week.
