Amazing effort to beat that record. He did it with a time of 43 hours 25 minutes and 13 seconds.

It is an amazing effort.  He had to ride through some awful weather in Scotland.

841 miles at an average of 19.4 mph, he now joins a few good cyclists as an End to End record holder.
