Teresa has been in touch today to inform me that she is standing down as Club Secretary. Some of you will be aware that she has been struggling with health issues for a few months but has still carried out administrative duties for the club.
I would like to put on record my thanks for what she has done for the club as well as the support she has given to me personally.
We now have a vacancy for the role. If anyone wants to put their name forward or learn more about it, please get in touch.

Hope you get well soon. You have been terrific secretary and offered us all a lot of support as a club and as individuals. Great job! Hope you will still keep an eye on us all on the forum and pop in to the club when your feeling up to it.

Many thanks for all you have done, a hard act to follow. Hope you keep in touch as much as possible

Really dissapointing Teresa, but completely understandable. Great to see you the other day and even better to hear of your marathonesque walks around Bridgend!!! Think you said you'd done 19 miles on Thursday! Hope you get your health back and hope to see you whenever you can make club nights/events in the future. Take care

Huge thanks from me Teresa. Very best wishes for a speedy return to full health and hope to see you again soon

I remember the warm welcome you give me when I first visited the club on a Friday nigh a few years back All the very best in the future Teresa

Thanks for everything you've done as club secretary Teresa, you've done an outstanding job. You were the first person I met when I joined the club 6 years ago and to think you've soldiered on this long despite your health issues is amazing. You'll be a tough act to follow! :(

Thank you so much for your kind words.
I have been Sec for longer than I care to remember and have had a great time in the role. It's great to keep in touch with members both to do with the club and personally.
Due to lots of "stuff" going on, I find that I cannot keep up the standards I expect from myself so I decided that the best thing to do was step down and give someone else an opportunity to make the role their own.
This certainly doesn't mean I am stepping away from the club, so I will be around, just not sending you all shed loads of emails ;)
Thanks again and will catch up soon.

Ben Norley has volunteered to take on the role of Secretary. Many thanks Ben ! Any correspondence or items for Teresa should go to Ben.
Ben, I did not want to put your email address on here without your permission (GDPR!). But feel free to post it yourself or PM the members.

Well done Ben for taking this on-I have to say how impressed I am at how diligently you are performing your role.I'd barely had time to remove my front wheel after a puncture when you zoomed up out of nowhere to assist! Thanks also to Alex, hope you both had a good ride after our encounter

Ben, kudos for stepping up to the plate.
I have an admin task for you: in a roundabout way I have had a communication from the chapel hall administrator regarding the topical issue of GDPR. Essentially it's who gets to know of the club's details held by the chapel as per their data policy. Would you prefer this as paper or email?
-
Hi Tom. No problems all part of the service ;)
Steve can you email it to me please? I spent last week finishing stuff for GDPR for work ;D
