Title: Mid-week rides wk of 2/4
Post by: Tom on April 02, 2018, 01:12:18 PM: Can't be hugely optimistic about the weather tomorrow-BBC gives 61% chance of rain at 9 o clock but if the fates are kind I will be at B&Q roundabout at 9.45.If not may delay going out but will post here if so.
Have to go and renew my Season Ticket at CCFC on Thursday so will be riding into Cardiff then

Post by: Ben on April 02, 2018, 06:07:34 PM: Cafe Velo is indeed closed until Thursday. I don't suppose we could tempt Tom with a different route? I need to be at Sport Wales for 12pm for our Lunchtime ride (people are welcome to join) but I wouldn't mind a few uppy bits.

Post by: Tom on April 03, 2018, 07:08:09 PM: 9 out today but unfortunately not all at the same time!Ben and I met Mike and Patrick at B&Q then rode up to Ewenny roundabout where we met Mal plus (Mark?)Nick and Carrie.We all went round the Coast then following a misunderstanding some took to the lanes and some stayed on the main road.Unfortunately Nick punctured and he and Carrie turned for home,Ben set out for Cardiff but the rest of us met Carrie W in Llantwit for coffee following which we went our separate ways.I went through the lanes with Carrie and did an extra loop to Cowbridge.As mentioned I'll be riding Llantwit-Cardiff and back on Thursday-Friday doubtful for me but I'd be surprised if someone isn't out!

Post by: mal jones on April 05, 2018, 08:46:30 PM: Last of the summer wine trip to the sea side for me Patrick and Mike nice coffee stop at Remos in Aberavon. Patrick showing off his white legs for the first time this year sunny = hot if your Scottish. Quite hard work going home into a headwind with Patrick doing most of the work on the front ( trying to keep his legs warm) . Mikes jokes are getting worse but raised a few smiles .
