Title: Old bike
Post by: Reece0 on January 23, 2018, 07:16:27 PM
I've unexpectantly sold my bike and as I never managed to reach the n +1 I find myself without wheels.

Does any body have an old bike they'd be willing to loan me for a couple of weeks while I find a replacement - not ideal Majorca prep i know and I'm going to try and get my old mountain bike on the turbo which may or may not work.

Cheers

You could borrow my moda stretto, but it ain’t got no wheels and think cables need changing

Thanks. I have an old Ropey wheelet with 11 speed Shimano.  What group set is on the stretto ?

Also found out that the tacx neo will not play nicely with a 7 speed mountain bike  >:(

SRAM red 10 speed might have 10 speed cassette here somewhere, will need brake pads as well

If it doesn’t work out, my Kinesis Racelight just needs a saddle on it. Although I haven’t ridden it since last March, it may need a drop of oil in the chain!  :-[

Cheers guys. I think the easiest option would be from Andy as I have a spare saddle.

Andy, are you going to the club on Friday ?

No problem!
At least it’s made me get the bike out and checked over!  :)
