Time to reflect and set targets. You may be a total anorak like me who has recorded every mile in the last 20 years or are just able to estimate how many miles you have done. I factor in my turbo time at 14 miles for each hour on the turbo.
5065 or an average of 97.4 miles a week.
What did you do? Post here !

5427.4 bike
543.9 run
next season main target sub 12 hour long distance triathlon!
-
7,250 miles in 396 hours. Busiest month August with 40 hours and quitest September with 25 hours.
Strava gives a nice breakdown within training calendar. Interested to see I did about 25% more cycling in 2013 than in 2012!
-
Also exactly 7250 according to Strava !!!!
-
I rode about 200 miles in 2013, needless to say my objectives are to ride a little more in 2014 and be ready to ride the dragon with a good time, and on the subject of numbers, my other aim would be to get my 28" jeans back on.
-
28!! No wonder you were so quick up the hills.
-
Hopefully be back in them by the time the hill climbing season comes!!
It will be good to feel the burn again.
-
A total of 3,726......av 71 per week.
Didn't really get into a proper programme until April......so lost some miles at the beginning of the year!!!.
Role on 2014 its going to be interesting ????
-
This already 2014...its rolling!
-
"It" wasn't rolling today Rob, "It" was a real grind!!!! LOL :)

VeloViewer tells me for 2013;

Total elev: 57,473 m
Total time: 9d 16:21:02
Max dist: 119 km - Five Valley Sportive with a Few Wrong Turns...
Max elev: 1,795 m - OVW Pacers Club Run: Hail Hurts
Max time: 04:43:56 - Five Valley Sportive with a Few Wrong Turns...
January to April 2013 only had a couple of rides so hopefully I'll do better this year.
-
2,122 miles for me, thats my worst year ever with possibly the best summer in years. Very depressing :(
-
If you don't count them(like me)you can't get depressed Steve-also you only ride about 4 months a year nowadays so that's pretty good I think!
-
Did more miles last year than packets of crisps eaten, and both were not any old miles/crisps. My baby sitting, mother to be to be sitting has now ceased so hopefully a better year than 2013. Training is drifting along nicely. Hope to stay injury,colds/virus free.

Good thread!!
A quick glance at Strava says I did 19,501.8km (12,038.15 miles in old money) in 671hrs.
That's not including turbo/roller sessions or track work, I've only recently started recording those on Strava.
Best month was August with 88 hours clocked, worst was January with 26hrs (although that's not including track).
Given the quality of the summer we had that will be hard to top bit a goal for 2014 must be to at least equal it!
-
You must have felt at one with your bicycle in August Davey! I think that is a typical annual mileage, for a motorist.
-
:)
Yeah there was a lot of cycling going on last year! Hardly any racing though...wonder if those two facts are connected...? ;D
-
Definately. You cannot do anything like that mileage through the summer and also be fresh/ tapered for races. That goes for road racing and time trialling
-
Agreed! Good job I don't race, much prefer just riding my bike ;D
-
sod all. or at most 1000
-
Sod all - so I am deeply impressed guys.
Should I give up now ?
I don't think so ! ! ! I need to get into my 34" trousers without adopting Normans diet.
