Yesterday was the Bynea 30, set on probably the most attractive course in Wales, between Llandeilo and Carmarthen. Over 1,000ft of climbing ( it's a bit like riding 3 x club 10's back to back! ). Very technical and some rough surface ( my rear tyre was down to the canvas at the end). It was a celebrity deathmatch between myself and Mr Goodwin, who prevailed by 30 seconds and is now the club 30 champion!
Keiron won it - he's not doing much this year as he's just become a father. 'Not much' in his terms meant breaking the course record with 61 mins for 30 mins , an average of 29mph!!
