Just managed to get my hands on one of these and started to restore it. Have managed to get it back to a mechanically fully working condition. Now the fully restore starts.

Would be willing to bring it to a club night for those that may want to have a look or even give it a whirl???

Plenty of information on the internet about the history of the C5 for those that are interested. More importantly it was manufactured in Merthyr under licence by the Hoover factory.

Let me know if there is any interest as I work in Colchester during the week and commute back on a friday.

Marvellous! Bring it out on a club run once fully restored - I would love to see a C5 going up the Bwlch. It might even be newsworthy, given the local manufacturing link.
