The club kit was discussed at some length at the recent committee meeting with a view to switching supplier.
It was decided that we would review the kit from our current supplier, Bioracer, with that from Pactimo. Bioracer offer 2 levels of kit in the same way as Decca had done previously, Professional and Race Proven (was Elite) We have always purchased from the Professional range. Pactimo have 3 as demonstrated to us, Continental, Ascent and Summit. Pactimo will be providing us with a sample bag and we can compare this kit against kit that we are holding in stock. The plan is to do this at the club night on 2 October. It would be really helpful to have some experienced cyclists present to help with the review and share their views, we need the views of those that are going to buy and wear the kit.
Just to note there will be no switching of supplier, if there is a decision to switch, until we have significantly reduced our current stock holding.

Hi, can I order kit anytime or is there specific times of the year? I'm a fairly standard(L), albeit long fit, so your stock cupboard will probably suffice

There's lots of kit in stock Geoff, just turn up on a Friday and have a look. I'll try to get a stock list together in the next few days or so and get it posted on the web site.
I think there is sufficient kit in stock to get us through the winter and spring.

We have just decided to have the Club Auction on Friday 23rd October at the Clubhouse.
Is there any blue kit left that can be included ? We put some in last year but I don't think it was all sold.
It is basically good stuff that is still OK for training and wearing under new kit in the winter. The Lycra overshoes are great to keep cycling shoes clean and the track mits are very comfortable.
If you can come to the Auction that would be great. If you cannot would you pop into the clubroom this Friday to put aside the stuff we can sell ?

Tim, I can't get to the club this Friday, is there any other time I can get access to the kit other than the 1 hour slot on a Friday? I'm not sure there is any blue kit left now but will check. But there is some of the Cofides kit. I'm sure we can get soemthing together for your auction.
